Looking to be on the cutting edge of software? Microsoft has released their latest beta of Office 2010. Interestingly enough there is a new naming scheme reminding me of the Windows 98 days. Make sure to download the Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 beta... What's going on here? Do we really need two classifications of feature rich software in the title?

NAS Hard Drive Selection
Toms Hardware has an interesting article on hard drive selection for you local NAS device. They use a Synology DS409+ as their test bed and compare the 7,200 rpm Samsung Spinpoint T166 versus the more "green" 5,400 rpm drive, the Samsung EcoGreen F2.
